Solar Streets comes to Faringdon

Faringdon Town Council is working with Solar Streets to bring good value solar panel’s to your home.

Solar Streets is a way of getting solar panels for your house or business at discounted prices.  You can directly help in the fight against climate change, as well as helping your local community, as a donation to the Faringdon Community Fund is given on every install – £50 for a domestic installation and £100 for a commercial one.  If you live in one of the surrounding villages then the Faringdon scheme is also open to you.

Your solar panels will be installed by IDDEA Ltd.  Established in 2007, IDDEA have depots in Westbury in Wiltshire, and High Wycombe in Bucks, and have installed over 1,000 solar projects across the South and are committed to supporting communities to take action against climate change.  They have installed Solar Streets projects in neighbouring areas including Wallingford, Henley, Chinnor, and Thame, as well as further afield in Frome, Wells, Swanage, and others.
