Broadband for Rural Communities

Posted on October 8, 2020

NEW Some of the hardest-to-reach places in the UK are eligible for additional
funding towards the cost of installing gigabit-capable broadband to their
premises when part of a group project

How do you qualify?

  1. Premises must be in rural areas
  2. Available broadband speeds must be less than 100 Megabits per second
    (and not gigabit-capable)
  3. You must be part of a group project (two or more premises)
You can check whether you are likely to be eligible for our rural gigabit
voucher and search for a registered supplier by looking up your postcode on
    gigabitvoucher.culture.gov.uk
