Rooms For Hire

The Corn Exchange, the Old Town Hall and the Pump House are operated by Faringdon Town Council offering the perfect location for your social and business meetings and events, in the heart of town.

Whether you require space for 2 or 200 people, we have a venue that will meet all your needs. Bar and kitchen facilities are available in some venues and disabled facilities are in all venues as standard.

The Corn Exchange

A beautifully proportioned hall dating from the 1860s with a superb, vaulted ceiling. The venue is ideally suited for a variety of functions including parties, exhibitions, charity events, conferences and dinners. There is a large kitchen, bar facilities and a licence to hold up to 200 people with a seated capacity of 150.

Hire costs

Summer season rates 1st April to 30th Sept| Winter season rates 1st October to 31st March

Hourly charges (including VAT)

Community rate: Summer rate £13.50 – Winter Rate £15.00

Private rate: Summer rate £17.40 – Winter Rate £18.90

Commercial rate: Summer rate £21.60 – Winter Rate £23.10

Pump House

This beautifully renovated building is situated in the Market Place. It is home to the Town Council offices and Information Centre. The Jubilee Room, on the first floor, is available for hire for meetings and activities such as yoga.

Hire costs

Summer season rates 1st April to 30th Sept| Winter season rates 1st October to 31st March

Hourly charges ( including VAT):

Summer rate £12.30 – Winter Rate £13.80

Old Town Hall

Faringdon Town Council as trustee of the Faringdon War Memorial Trust administers this building situated in the Market Place. Built between 1650 and 1660 it is licensed to hold up to a maximum of 50 people and has a beautifully refurbished self-contained kitchen.

It is ideal for meetings, as well as having lighting and devices particularly suitable for art exhibitions.

Hire Costs

Hourly charge £8.50

Full day £40.00
