Notice is hereby given that Vale of White Horse District Council has made an Order
under Section 21 of the Town Police Clauses Act 1847, the effect of which is, on the
occasion of the Christmas Lights On Event on 02 December 2023 between 09:30
and 19:00 to close the roads below to all vehicular traffic:
• Cornmarket.
• Market Place (including bus lane).
• London Street, from junction with Swan Lane to Market Place.
• Church Street, from junction with Swan Lane to Market Place.
This temporary restriction does not apply to emergency service vehicles and is
subject to the discretion of a Police Officer in uniform.
