Town Meeting – Parking Response

At the Town Meeting residents expressed concern about the parking in several areas in Faringdon. Parking in Faringdon is currently enforced by the police. Police resources are stretched and they prioritise serious crime. The Vale of the White Horse District Council have decided not to proceed with civil enforcement. Cllr. Roger Cox was asked about this at the Town Meeting he explained that VWHDC had decided civil enforcement would be too expensive to implement.
