Damage caused in Faringdon and Bikes found

Damage caused in Faringdon and Bikes found

Unfortunately we are experiencing a bout of criminal damage around the town. We have reported the following incidents to the police:

1. Damage to the Portwell Pump – cause by climbing on the monument. Crime number: 43180295542

2. Damage to Phone Box – Canada Lane. Crime number: 43180300780

3. Sign in Highworth Rd Lay-by. The information board has been removed from its plinth and thrown into field. Crime Number: 43180303096

Repairs are expensive and will be in excess of £3,000.

If members of the public can help the police to identify those responsible please could you call 101 quoting the crime reference numbers.

Two bikes have been found in Town Park. If your bike is lost or stolen we have them safely at the Town Council Office. Please call with a description.
