Westmill Solar local talk and Roadshow

Westmill Solar Co-operative is opening its doors to invite more people to join their group of 1,500 members who are taking decisive action to tackle climate change. The 5MW solar park is located in Watchfield, Oxfordshire and has been operating under community ownership for nearly 7 years. It creates enough clean, renewable energy to power around 1,400 homes, so it’s little wonder its members are so passionate about supporting its work.

The crowdfunding five-year bond, opening this week, aims to raise £1 million and is offering a projected interest rate of 6% for those in the local area (5% to people from further afield).

The money raised from the bond will help Westmill Solar continue to thrive for the benefit of everyone: members, local community initiatives and, most importantly, future generations.
