Faringdon Town Council has elected its new mayor – Cllr Kiera Bentley.

Faringdon’s new Mayor is Cllr Kiera Bentley , who was elected at the Annual Meeting of the Council,  in the Corn Exchange on Thursday.

Cllr Bentley joined Faringdon Town Council in 2016, her last role being Deputy Mayor and chair of the Facilities committee.

Cllr Bentley took over from Cllr Mike Wise who had served the Town Council since 2004 in the role of Councillor and Mayor.

Congratulations to the new Deputy Mayor Cllr Liz Swallow.
