Holiday Activities and Food (HAF) Programme – from Oxfordshire County Council

Posted on December 16, 2022

ws about the Holiday Activities and Food (HAF) Programme that might be of interest to you and to the families that you support.

The programme offers free holiday activities to school-aged children who have started Reception – Year 11, and who are in receipt of benefits-related free school meals.

This winter holiday, there are a wide range of activities available, from bushcraft to football camps. Eligible children and young people are entitled to:

  1. At least 4 hours each day.
  2. Four days maximum over the Christmas Holidays
  3. A nutritious meal each day they attend the camp.

The programme is also open to refugees, including people fleeing the conflict in Ukraine.

In order to book onto the activities, families will need a code that will be distributed by their school to enable families to then book on this website: https://coordinate.cloud/haf-oxfordshire-county-council/

The Oxfordshire HAF team can be contacted to check eligibility and attain a code either at [email protected] or by calling 01865 328 460.

If you know of any families who are or may be eligible, please do recommend this programme to them. More information is available here:   https://fisd.oxfordshire.gov.uk/kb5/oxfordshire/directory/advice.page?id=AVpSfBoWFFU
