Mayor’s Activity October

Chairman’s Activity Report 12th September – 9th October 2019

Saturday 14th September: presented the trophies at the Faringdon Tennis Club, Faringdon Tennis Championships Finals Day held on Folly Park.

Sunday 15th September: represented the town at Carterton Town Council’s Battle of Britain Civic Service at the church of St John the Evangelist, Carterton.

Wednesday 18th September: with members and of FTC attended a drill night at Faringdon Fire Station.

Thursday 19th September: attended a meeting of the Oxfordshire Neighbourhood Plans Alliance (ONPA), representing the VoWH parishes with Neighbourhood Plans, at Chalgrove.

Friday 20th September: represented the town at the High Sheriff’s reception at Ditchley Park nr. Charlbury.

Sunday 22nd September: attended the YoCO celebration in the Pump House Project for the first group to have visited the Nasio Trust in Kenya.

Sunday 29th September: represented the town at the Bicester Town Council’s Civic Service and Parade at St Edburg’s, Bicester.

Thursday 3rd October: with Cllr. Martin attended a meeting of the Pump House Project Trustees in the Pump House Project.

Monday 7th October: chaired the first meeting of the Climate Emergency Public Meeting in the Corn Exchange.
