Notice of Temporary Traffic Order Faringdon Bridleway and Footpath Closure

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – Section 14(1)
Notice of Temporary Traffic Order
Faringdon Bridleway and Footpath Closure
Date of Order: 7 March 2022
Coming into force: 14 March 2022
This Order is being introduced because installation of new clean water main which is anticipated to be completed 14 August 2022.
The effect of the Order is to close temporarily parts of Footpath 200/9/20,
Footpath 150/17/10 and Bridleway 150/13 30.
Exemptions are included for emergency services and for the works and for
pedestrian access to property which is only accessible from the closed rights of way.
Appropriate traffic signs will be displayed to indicate when the measures are in force.
There is no suitable off road alternative route for those affected by the
closure. This Order will remain in force for a maximum period of 6 months or until the works have been completed whichever is the sooner.
