NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN
Pursuant to section 87(2) of the Local Government Act 1972, that Vacancy in Office of Councillor has been released following the resignation of Councillor David Brown.
If within 14 working days after the date of this notice (no later than 4th June 2021), a request for an election to fill the vacancy by 10 electors is received by the Returning Officer, and it fulfils the criteria stated by the Town Council, a by-election will be held, otherwise the vacancy will be filled by co-option.
