Public Governor Elections – South Central Ambulance Service

Posted on August 7, 2020

Do you want to make a difference
to your local ambulance services?

As a governor you can play a key role in
shaping the future of our services.
We have vacancies for public governors
across Buckinghamshire, Oxfordshire,
Berkshire and Hampshire

Governors represent the interests of
our public and staff members, general
members of the public and stakeholders
in our local communities.

Governors need to be confident communicators
and able to speak to our members and the
public about complex healthcare matters.

To be eligible to be a governor you must be
a member of the constituency you wish to
stand for and be 16 or over.

Appointment terms start on 1 March 2021 and
a full induction programme will be provided.
Members have until the autumn to complete
an application to become a governor

Nominations run from
21 September to 11 October
Elections run from
2 to 23 November

IMPORTANT – If you would like to become a governor, you must be 16 or over and become a member first.

Find out more about the role below https://www.scas.nhs.uk/elections/.
