Remembrance Sunday 14th November 2021

Posted on October 27, 2021

Due to rising Covid case numbers, and in discussion with the church and the British Legion, it has been decided that the usual full service and parade are not possible.

There will be a much smaller parade with standard bearers, escorts and wreath layers

The parade will walk from the Corn Exchange straight to the war memorial at 10.45am, for a short outdoor service, and then the 2 minute silence will be at 11.00am as usual. This will be followed by the wreath laying ceremony.

Unfortunately, it will not be possible for anyone other than standard bearers, escorts and wreath layers to take part in the parade this year, but members of the public are free to come and pay their respects, in the Market Place, if they would like to.

There will be a church service, but this will be independent of the parade this year for details please visit All Saints’ website: https://www.allsaintsfaringdon.org/
