School Holiday Activities

Vale of White Horse Active Communities Team work across the district to help residents with their physical health and wellbeing.

Click on this link School Holiday Activities – Vale of White Horse District Council (whitehorsedc.gov.uk) and you will find some descriptions of some of the activities and the ages they are aimed at, all children under 16 should be accompanied by an adult.

All activities are free unless otherwise stated.

Every school holiday they have an array of free and low-cost activities planned, including activities for families that are signed up to YouMove. You can find out more about YouMove on our YouMove webpage.

Summer holiday activities 2023

We have such a busy summer of activities planned for children (and some activities for adults) over the summer holidays. Scroll down to see what is taking place, any events with DGP next to them are a part of our summer long Didcot Garden Party in partnership with our Didcot Garden Town team There’s more about the Didcot Garden Party on our dedicated webpage.

Booking is advisable for some of these these activities but you can just turn up on the day and places will be allocated on a first come first serve basis.
