Works on the westbound carriageway of the A420 in conjunction with the Gablecross Improvements Scheme.
The programmed work will be to construct a new section of footway from Symmetry park to Gablecross roundabout. As works are in the channel of the carriageway a lane closure of the westbound A240 is required to undertake the works safely.
To safely control traffic past the junction of the A420 with the Police access road; temporary traffic lights will replace the existing 3-way signalised junction.
Start :on the A420 on the 22nd of February for a eight-week duration.
The lane closure will be in place from 09:30 hours to 15:30 hours, but the temporary traffic lights will remain on site for the duration of this work.
