Venue Hire

Faringdon Town Council operates the Corn Exchange, the Old Town Hall and the Pump House. They offer the perfect space for social or business meetings and events, in the heart of town. Whether you require space for 2 or 200 people, we have a venue that will meet your needs. Bar and kitchen facilities are available in some venues and disabled facilities are in all, as standard.

The Corn Exchange

Capacity: 200 people maximum, seated capacity: 150

A beautifully proportioned hall dating from the 1860s with a superb, vaulted ceiling. The venue is ideally suited for a variety of functions including parties, exhibitions, charity events, conferences and dinners. There is a large kitchen and bar facilities.

Jubilee Room, Pump House

Capacity: 50 people maximum

This beautifully renovated building is situated in Faringdon’s Market Place. It is home to the Town Council offices and Information Centre. The Jubilee Room, on the first floor, is perfect for meetings with its online video equipment and for other uses such as yoga or community group meet ups.

Old Town Hall

Capacity: 50 people maximum

Faringdon Town Council, as trustee of the Faringdon War Memorial Trust, administers this building situated in the Market Place. Built between 1650 and 1660 it has been beautifully refurbished with a self-contained kitchen. The Old Town Hall is ideal for meetings, as well as having lighting and a j-rail hanging system particularly useful for art exhibitions.
