South and Vale are putting a call out for people to work at the County Council election in May. If people are interested, they need to get in touch as soon as possible and if possible, encourage friends and family to do the same.
Here are some of the roles available for the Oxfordshire County Council election taking place in our district:
- Polling station staff – locations across the area, Thursday 1 May (from 6am until finish – likely to be around 10.30pm) – from £220
- Verification staff – Abingdon, Thursday 1 May, from 9.30pm to around 2am – from £23 per hour
- Count staff – Abingdon, Friday 2 May, from 9.30am until finish – from £15.50 per hour
