Young Activity Auditors

Posted on February 1, 2016

Last Wednesday saw our first meeting of our new youth session ‘Young Activity Auditors’. This group of young people have come together to work on a project that will see them audit the activities that are available for themselves and other young people across the county with the eventual aim of creating a tangible product that will help other young people learn more about services for them.

We are also hopeful this will be the forerunner for a new Youth Council which will give our young people a further voice in our townfolly

The young people came together to answer the question ‘what do you like most and least about Faringdon’ we also created a list of the skills we had within the group. We were lucky enough to be able to display these on a board with a wonderful sketch of Faringdon’s Folly that local artist Shelia Isabel Irigoyen did for us after we put out a request for help on local Facebook page ‘I live in the town of Faringdon’.

If you are a young person aged 13-20 and would like to get involved please get in touch with Rebekah Pugh (Youth and Community Officer) on 01367240281 or via email
