Temporary Road Closure: Gablecross lane

Works on the westbound carriageway of the A420 in conjunction with the Gablecross Improvements Scheme.

The programmed work will be to construct a new section of footway from Symmetry park to Gablecross roundabout. As works are in the channel of the carriageway a lane closure of the westbound A240 is required to undertake the works safely.

To safely control traffic past the junction of the A420 with the Police access road; temporary traffic lights will replace the existing 3-way signalised junction.
Start :on the A420 on the 22nd of February for a eight-week duration.

The lane closure will be in place from 09:30 hours to 15:30 hours, but the temporary traffic lights will remain on site for the duration of this work.

WHITE HART JUNCTION IMPROVEMENTS – EMERGENCY WORKS –

Please note that we will be carrying out emergency pothole repairs to the north east section of the White Hart Roundabout, between the A419 southbound exit and A420 westbound entry slips.

This section of the roundabout will be closed from 10pm Thursday 4 February while this work takes place. We anticipate the repairs to take around three hours before the roundabout will be re-opened.
